Anyion is unique in that we have always been on the leading edge of innovation and continually reshape our internal and external processes to fit our upcoming needs beforehand instead of waiting for something to happen and having to respond in a reactionary manner.  We are not afraid to take chances or measured risks.  Our employees appreciate the freedom given to them to try out new ideas and concepts - and fail.

The freedom to fail is one of the core tenants within Anyion’s corporate DNA.  In our view, we measure success not by how many times we were successful at something but how many times we failed along the way.  Success only requires succeeding one more time than you failed.  Because we give our employees room to fail within a safe context, we have an extremely dense expereience base from which to draw and use to help our clients divert from paths we already know lead to failure.

There are two kinds of crisises: failure crisises and success crisises.  Both are equally important to master as both can easily kill a business.  At Anyion we are known for being the masters of success crisises - a reputation that comes from having already mastered and excelled at “falling forward” during failure.

Professionally Irreverant http://anyion.com/2008/06/17/professionally-irreverant/ http://anyion.com/2008/06/17/professionally-irreverant/#comments Tue, 17 Jun 2008 09:06:38 +0000 admin http://anyion.com/2008/06/17/professionally-irreverant/ Within Anyion there are multiple groups, practicing multiple disciplines.  Across those groups there is one common thread - professional irreverence.  We take our jobs seriously but not much else.  Wit, retort and, yes, even sarcasm are encouraged as corporate values.

Companies who take themselves too seriously end up becoming old and stodgy… which eventually becomes sluggish and moldy.  See Microsoft for an example.  Instead, Anyion purposely encourages its employees to poke fun at each other, at the company and anything meriting a laugh.  Make no mistake, we are deadly serious in the midst of a corporate emergency but once the fire is under control you can expect us to pull out sticks, marshmellows, graham crackers and chocolate to make smoores.

There are no sacred cows within Anyion and we’ll be happy to help you slaughter all of yours.

When business critical means critical business http://anyion.com/2008/04/11/when-business-critical-means-critical-business/ http://anyion.com/2008/04/11/when-business-critical-means-critical-business/#comments Fri, 11 Apr 2008 18:27:04 +0000 admin http://anyion.com/2008/04/11/when-business-critical-means-critical-business/ logoThere are times in the life of every growing business when business critical turns into critical business. Most often this appears as what we call a success crisis.

A success crisis is much like any other crisis a business may face. It is some event or combination of events during which the business has the real potential to fail or cause itself irreparable harm. What makes a success crisis different is the cause of the crisis. As its name implies, a success crisis is caused by success - having done something so right that you are now faced with the possibility of not being able to execute or capitalize on that positive success.

Just like any crisis, a success crisis is capable of killing the business in question.
